Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated speech language pathologist who wants to be a part of a growing multidisciplinary practice in Columbia, SC. This is a new position that will quickly fill to 22-25 hours of patient contact weekly, divided between home visits and clinic.

Minimum requirements:
Must have CCC’s
Competent in speech language pathology evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
Minimum 2 years experience in pediatrics
Effective communicator in written adn spokenEnglish with both with colleagues and patients, families, and caregivers.
Licensed by the state of South Carolina to independently practice speech language pathology. Able to reliably commute to work.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs as necessary.

Creative in implementation of treatment and in collaboration with colleagues (example- co-treating with music therapists).
Feeding/Swallowing experience.
Enthusiastic about working with children in the midlands area to improve their communication skills.
Organized and intuitive. No micromanagement required.
Flexible. Pediatrics can ebb and flow.
Technologically savvy- calendars, internet, documentation software, iPads, etc. You know it or you pick up fast.
Fluent in Spanish.
